Frequently asked questions

Do you do on site scanning?

Yes. We can travel to you, most of the western side of Washington State. We also offer local drop offs to do scans in house.

Do you charge hourly?

No. We charge based on the project complexity and scale. Project based pricing. No hidden fees or price increase unless there's issues we were not notified about before or after the scan starts.

Is there a size limit?

Generally our max object size is a pickup truck for easy reference. Smallest object we can scan is a quarter coin.

What file formats do you provide for 3D scans?

We provide STL, OBJ, PLY and ASC output formats.

Do you do room or entire house/building scanning?

No, we do not.

Do you do Inspection Services?

No, we don't do that currently. We recommend checking out Sentinel 3D for such services.

I came to DIVO3D with a request to reverse engineer a mount for a headset so I could attach a boom to the ball joint. Andrew scanned the original object, was able to reverse engineer the fit onto a third-party headset, and then make the changes necessary for a properly sized ball mount.
