DIVO3D LLC ("DIVO3D," "we," "us") is a 3D printing, CAD design, and 3D scanning service business located in Marysville, Washington. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using our website (divo3d.com) or our services, you agree to this policy.

Your projects are confidential by default. See our Confidentiality Commitment for details on how we protect your files, designs, and business information.

1. Information We Collect

Contact and account information. When you request a quote, submit a form, or become a client, we collect information such as your name, email address, phone number, mailing address, and company name. We use this to communicate with you, prepare quotes, invoice you, and ship your orders.

Project information. To complete your project, we collect the files and details you provide, such as 3D models, scans, drawings, photos, specifications, and project requirements.

Payment information. Payments are processed by Square. We do not see or store your full credit card number. Square handles your payment data under its own privacy policy and security standards.

Website and technical information. When you visit our website, our hosting and support tools automatically collect standard technical data such as your IP address, browser type, approximate location (country/region), pages viewed, and how you found our site. We use this only to understand how the website is used and to improve it. Our website does not currently respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

Respond to inquiries and prepare quotes
Complete your project and deliver your order
Invoice you and process payments
Communicate about your project status
Maintain business records required by law (tax, accounting, contracts)
Improve our website and services

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your information for third-party advertising.

3. Portfolio and Social Media Sharing

We only share photos, videos, or descriptions of client projects publicly (on our website, portfolio, or social media) with your permission. If you give permission and later change your mind, contact us and we will remove the content.

We never share your design files, technical drawings, scan data, or business details publicly under any circumstances.

4. Who We Share Information With

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share it only with:

Service providers we use to operate the business, such as Square (payments), Hostinger (website hosting), Vercel and Supabase (hosting and secure database storage for our client management system), Tawk.to (website chat), and shipping carriers. These providers only receive the information needed to perform their function.
Contractors working on your project, who are bound by our confidentiality obligations.
Legal authorities, if required by law, subpoena, or similar legal process, or when disclosure is necessary in good faith to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others, or to investigate fraud.

5. Data Retention

Business records (invoices, project agreements, tax records) are retained as required by federal and Washington State law, generally up to seven years.
Project files (models, scans, designs) are retained while your project is active and for a reasonable period afterward so we can support reprints, revisions, or warranty issues. You may request earlier deletion at any time (see Section 6).
Form submissions and inquiry data that do not become active projects are periodically deleted.

6. Your Rights and Choices

Regardless of where you live, you may:

Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you
Request corrections to inaccurate information
Request deletion of your personal information and project files
Request confidentiality restrictions on any project at any time
Withdraw permission for portfolio or social media sharing

Deletion exceptions: We cannot delete records we are legally required to keep, such as invoices, tax records, and signed project agreements. These are retained only as long as the law requires and remain protected under this policy.

7. Data Security

We take reasonable administrative, technical, and physical measures to protect your information, including access restrictions, encryption where practical, and limiting data access to only the people working on your project. However, no method of transmission or storage over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

For projects involving sensitive or proprietary information, tell us at the start — we can discuss additional file-handling measures.

8. Third-Party Websites

Our website may link to other websites we do not control. We are not responsible for their privacy practices. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of any site you visit.

9. Children's Privacy

Our website and services are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The current version will always be posted on this page with its effective date. Continued use of our website or services after changes are posted means you accept the updated policy.
