Do you charge by hourly?

No. We do set project price for each individual design. We guarantee no price increase during design process unless there are additional changes that were not discussed during project brief.

Do i own all the design files and IP?

If your design is unique, you own all the rights by default. We don't own anything we design for you. We are a manufacturing and design business. We are not into buying, selling, licensing or keeping IPs.

Do you provide or sign NDAs?

We do not provide NDAs but we can review and sign your provided NDA. We encourage you to check out our privacy policy. We protect and do not share any IPs, designs or concepts without your permission by default.

What is reverse engineering?

Reverse engineering is working backward from a finished physical object to figure out how it was made, instead of the usual order of designing something first and then building it. In 3D work, that means taking a real part, like a broken bracket or a discontinued knob, measuring or 3D scanning it, and turning those measurements into a digital model that a computer can understand. Once you have that digital version, you can fix flaws, make changes, or 3D print new copies, even if the original blueprints never existed or were lost.

What CAD file formats do you provide?

We usually provide STEP, STP, plasticity and DXF outputs.

Is it easy to copy a physical part?

3D Printers must have a file ready to print from. If you do not have a file ready, we will have to do full reverse engineering service which includes 3D scanning, 3D CAD design and then 3D printing. For most basic repairs this is an overkill, but without doing full reverse engineering or having a ready 3D file, there's no way to print an already existing physical part.
