Frequently asked questions

Is resin printing multi-color?

Currently we do not offer multi-color resin printing. In the very near future we will have equipment that can print full color parts.

Do you outsource 3D printing?

No. We will never outsource 3D printing to other businesses. All our 3D prints are made in house on our own machines, right here in Washington State.

How much does it cost to print?

Our pricing varies depending on your parts geometry. We offer a variety of options to fit your needs and budget. Please visit our project submission page to upload your files. We will contact you shortly after.

What file formats do you accept for 3D printing?

We accept all the standard file formats for 3D printing. Includes but not limited to: STEP, STP, STL, OBJ, 3MF and FBX.

Do you have minimum quantity order?

No. You can order 1 or 10,000 parts. The higher the volume, the cheaper per unit cost is.

Is it easy to copy a physical part?

3D Printers must have a file ready to print from. If you do not have a file ready, we will have to do full reverse engineering service which includes 3D scanning, 3D CAD design and then 3D printing. For most basic repairs this is an overkill, but without doing full reverse engineering or having a ready 3D file, there's no way to print an already existing physical part.

Andrew at DIVO3D did a great job at replicating an impossible to find part for the 1958 Edsel Bermuda station wagon I am restoring. He scanned and printed the glove box emblem and another small trim piece ... both were missing from my car. A fellow restorer in Texas loaned me his parts to get 3D scanned to make me some replicates. Andrew was great thought-out the process with almost real-time communications and pictures as the process evolved. I have attached a picture showing the original part, he raw 3D black plastic part he printed and then I used a chrome paint stick for the final step. I have shared this picture to my fellow Edsel restorers and they were impressed ... a great opportunity to bring new technology to the old car restoration process at very reasonable prices.

I sent Andrew an idea and he was able to transform that into what I was looking for. I wanted a frame for the filter material for the skimmer in my pond. I found an example picture and mocked it up with the dimensions I was looking for on that example picture. Andrew reiterated my request back to me to verify we were on the same page, perfect. He made the first one and then sent it to me. Turns out there was a step inside the skimmer that I didn't know about. I came up with new dimensions and sent the information to Andrew. He adjusted the part sizes, then printed and sent me the new one. It is in the skimmer now and I am very satisfied with the project. Thank you Andrew!
